The band will be calling the shots at Bamford Village Institute on November 14.

Mr Grumpy’s Ceilidh Band is composed of five members and has been playing throughout the UK for more than 25 years.

The group has a reputation for getting people on their feet and dancing to a mix of English, Scottish and Irish dance tunes.

Peak District charity organisation group Bamford Community Arts and Crafts has organised this event.

The organisers have stressed the need to obtain tickets in advance as number will be limited to enable room for the dancing. Advance tickets are £10 for adults and £6 under 16s (£12 and £8 on the door).
