The Derbyshire Singers will be ‘celebrating summer’ at a concert on Saturday, July 11, at 7.30pm at St Peter’s Church, Edensor, on the Chatsworth Estate.

The concert will feature a range of music for voices and harp.

It will be a varied programme, with choral works including pieces by Dowland, Mozart, Elgar, Sullivan, Rutter and Chilcott, as well as folk-song arrangements.

The Derbyshire Singers will be joined by Eleanor Hudson on harp, and Daniel King Smith on piano.

Eleanor was born in Buxton, and was for 15 years principal harpist with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. She will also perform some solo works.

Daniel has performed both as soloist and accompanist around the world, as well as regularly on radio.

As always with the Derbyshire Singers, the experience will cover a wide range of styles and moods, and the evening can be enhanced by enjoying a glass of sangria at this glorious location.
