Race for Life hits the streets of Chesterfield

Pink ladies will be pounding the streets of Chesterfield on Sunday, June 14, in the annual Race for Life.

Hundreds of participants will be setting off from the Town Hall at 10.30am .

The 5km race is open to female adults, girls aged 6-15 years and boys aged 13 years and under, all of whom must have registered in advance and paid the relevant entry fee. Boys and girls under six years can take part for free and no registration is needed.

If you’re not taking part, come along and cheer the participants as they run up cash for the fight against cancer.

Some will be running in memory of those they have lost to cancer, others will be running to support those who are battling the disease and some may be running, walking or even dancing along the route for the fun of it.

Whatever their motivation, they deserve your support.
