A bestselling author Pam is one of the few writers who has had books in the Sunday Times bestseller charts in almost every decade since the 70s. Her poetry collections, including The Works, With These Hands, Surgically Enhanced and You Made Me Late Again! have a place in millions of homes in the UK.
Ayres’ live talks and poetry performances sound simple as though dashed off, but this deceptively masks her hair-trigger timing, eye for detail and hilarious observations of the absurdity of life.
The show starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets for Pam Ayres - 40 Years On are priced at £23.50. To book tickets or for further information, call the Box Office on 01298 72190 or visit www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk
