Visitors can now see the babies exploring their surroundings while staying close to mum Mathilda and dad Moe.

Emperor Tamarins, which are very small monkey, are native to South America, occurring in Brazil, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia, where they live in small family groups above the forest floor in the tree canopies.

Twin births are a typical occurrence among tamarin species, and when they are fully grown, the babies will weigh no more than 500g.
