Opera North’s brace of presentations at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal

Opera North are presenting two productions in Nottingham’s Theatre Royal this weekend.

La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi will be staged on Friday, November 28, at 7pm. Featuring one of the most touching arias, be prepared to be moved to tears by this popular opera.

The Coronation of Poppea will be presented on Saturday, November 29, at 7pm. Loosely based on actual events, Montiverdi’s work charts the obsession of Nero for the beautiful Poppea.
