Let the revels begin with these folk favourites

The Derbyshire Volunteers return once again for their annual Mid-Winter Revels with an incredible sound from this 18-piece big band made up of the who’s who of the Derbyshire folk scene.

This event is very much a coming together of folk music enthusiasts from the Midlands - a “proper ceilidh” - where people get together and enjoy the music and dance.

Owing to the Assembly Rooms being out of action, this charity event has been relocated to the Rolls-Royce Pavilion, Moor Lane, Derby, where there is ample free parking on site.

Whether you are a dancer or a listener, the Derbyshire Volunteers will have a warm welcome waiting for you on this fundraising night, when all the proceeds go to two worthy charities: Accessible Derbyshire - helping disabled visit the Peak District - and the Alzheimer’s Society.

So come along and join The Derbyshire Volunteers for a good old-fashioned evening of fun, dance, and good company.

Tickets are £12, with accompanied children under 16 years getting in free. These tickets are available through the Assembly Rooms box office on 01332 255800, or online at www.derbylive.co.uk
