Let battle commence

Educatables, Ichabod, Funk Forty One, Rookie League, Sons of El’Roacho and What If We Were Superheroes were picked from the dozens of demo entries that flooded into DT HQ.

And they will fight it out live on Monday night in the first semi-final of the contest, taking place at the prestigious Winding Wheel, Chesterfield.

Tickets are just £4 and available on the door, or in advance from the box office at the Pomegranate Theatre or the Tourist Information Centre, Chesterfield. There’s no age restriction on entry either.

Doors will open just after 6.30pm on Monday, with the draw for the running order taking place at 7pm.

All these bands will be hoping to wow our panel of judges in order to make it through to the grand final, also at the Winding Wheel, on November 21.

So get down to the venue on Monday and cheer on your favourite.
