Les Barker and Hicks and Goulbourn to perform at Chesterfield Library theatre
Chesterfield Folk Club launches the new year of concerts with a double-header.
Poet Les Barker and musical duo Hicks and Goulbourn perform at Chesterfield Library theatre on Friday, January 9.
Former accountant Les has totted up a vast collection of poems, having written 85 books. His poems have spawned folk heroes Jason and the Arguments, Cosmo the Fairly Accurate Knife Thrower and Spot of the Antarctic.
Hicks and Goulbourn have become an established act on the folk and acoustic scene in the UK and abroad due to a huge variety of musical styles.
