John Kirkpatrick presents Tunes from the Trenches at Burton Institute, Winster
Acclaimed folk singer John Kirkpatrick comes to Winster with his new show ‘Tunes from the Trenches’.
He will present a kitbag of songs from the two world wars to mark the centenary of the First World War and 70th anniversary of D-Day.
There will be a smattering of the popular hits of the day - designed to keep the spirits high, to raise a smile, share a chorus and provide a moment’s respite from the horrors on every side.
The show is at Burton Institute, Winster, on Friday, November 14, at 8pm.
