Harp star Esther to perform at Queen’s Head

It is not everyday that Scotland’s leading harpist performs in the East Midlands.

All the more gratifying then to welcome Esther Swift back to Belper for a gig at the Queen’s Head on Friday, January 9. Perhaps better known on the folk scene as one half of Twelfth Night, Esther’s music has been described as like ‘Debussy weaving daisy chains with Fairport Convention’.

Esther’s solo gig will be supported by local artist Robyn Johnson. Doors open at 8.15pm and admission is £7.
