So come into the cosy parlour at Bakewell’s Old House Museum and enjoy a ghostly evening in the company of master story teller Charles Dickens on Sunday, October 25.

The narrator will be Stephen Coates, dressed in Victorian garb, who performs regularly at Haddon Hall.

The ticket price is £10 a head which includes a hearty supper.

For those who prefer their spirits more substantial, a licensed bar will be available.
