Controversial UKIP leader to host evening

On one side of the argument there is Prime Minister David Cameron’s claim, back in 2006, that Mr Farage’s UKIP party was full of “fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists”.

On the other hand the party’s growing popularity has led many to regard him as the only man who offers a feasible alternative to the doldrums of current mainstream politics.

Whichever way you look at it Nigel Farage is very hard to ignore!

Recent poll gains by UKIP have forced the 49-year-old into the political spotlight, where his name and face have suddenly become significant in the media.

Now Farage is touring theatres for an up close and personal rhetoric, stopping at Buxton Opera House on Saturday November 2.

With a captive audience, Nigel will explain why he believes UKIP can offer Britain a better future, why the party did so well in the recent county council elections and why, according to him, we would all be better off ditching the EU!

Love him or loathe him, it’s difficult to keep him down and it certainly makes for a controversial night at the theatre!

The show starts at 7.30pm.
