All-Russian programme from NSO
Nottingham Symphony Orchestra’s first concert of the 2014-2015 season takes place on Saturday, November 15, at the city’s Albert Hall.
Conducted by Derek Williams, the orchestra will be performing an all-Russian programme.
The three works are Summer and Autumn from Glazunov’s ballet score The Seasons, Tchaikovsky’s hugely popular First Piano Concerto, with soloist Clare Hammond (pictured) and Rachmaninov’s youthful and exuberant First Symphony.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and more details on the orchestra and the concert are available by going to www.nottinghamsymphony.org.uk
