Top tribute bands will perform at the first Chesterfield Fake Festival next month - and you could win a family ticket to the event.
Flash will pay homage to Queen, Oasish brings the hits of Oasis to the stage and New2 play the music of U2.
They will be supported by five bands from the area, The Nameless, Stand Amongst Giants, Spitfire, Trinity Road and Crackin’ Right Foot.
The fun takes place inside a giant marquee at Stand Road recreation ground, Chesterfield, on June 25, with the Derbyshire-based groups playing an afternoon showcase.
New 2 will open up the main concert at 6.15pm.
George Thomas, licensee for the event, said: “I’ve always been a huge music fan, and my wife and I have helped out family members at previous Fake Festivals, so we are familiar with the set-up. The opportunity came along for me to run my own festival, and I jumped at the chance.”
“We hope everyone will embrace it, and come along and have a great day.”
George is hoping that the Chesterfield Fake Festival will become an annual live music event that is suitable for all ages and families and will benefit the community. He said: “It will give Chesterfield a chance to experience live outside music from some of the top tribute bands in the UK.”
There will be the main bar inside the marquee, and a variety of food and entertainment stalls in the outside arena.
