Festival. Barrow Hill Methodist Church is hosting a World War One Festival from 11am to 5pm, including a concert of war songs performed by Claire Sadler of Razzle Dazzle productions at 4pm. The Mayor and Mayoress of Chesterfield will attend at 2pm. Free admission.

Exhibition. St John’s Church, Tupton, hosts a First World War-themed open day exhibition in church from 10am to 4pm. Refreshments will be available.

Gala. Clowne Gala at Heritage High School, Boughton Lane, Clowne, from 11 am to 3 pm. Entertainment will include pop, brass and marching bands, dance, music, football, pony rides and children’s inflatables. Free entry. No dogs except support dogs.
