The “ultimate workship music solution” has thousands of traditional and modern hymns which can be played in any tempo, at any volume and in any musical style.

The state-of-the-art Hymnal Praise system has been bought by the church council at Christ Church, Wessington, as a safeguard in case their regular organist, octogenarian Greta Wainwright, cannot attend church for any reason or adverse weather prevents her from making the journey.

The system has cost over £2300 and its purchase has been made possible by a £2000 grant from local county councillor Barry Lewis through the council’s community leadership scheme.

Cllr Lewis is pictured with churchwarden Marje Cartledge, churchwarden Rita Buckley and Kidzone leader Eileen Bratt, left to right.
