FUN-LOVING revellers are in for a festive treat when stand-up comedian Justin Moorhouse heads a comedy bill.

He tops a Christmas special at the Winding Wheel, Chesterfield, tonight (Thursday, December 20), hosted by the Spotlight Comedy Club.

Justin’s TV credits include 8 Out of 10 Cats and Dave’s One Night Stand and his radio show Everyone Quite Likes Justin has been critically acclaimed.

His rise to fame started with his role as Young Kenny in TV series Phoenix Nights.

Justin was one of the supporting acts on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow two years ago.

He scooped a Celebrity Mastermind award with his specialist subject of Les Dawson.

And he’s earned credits in the film world, too, playing Spleen in Looking For Eric.

Justin’s show in Chesterfield comes ahead of a major two-month tour during which he will be travelling the length of the country to share stories about owls, family fun days and his dog.

Support acts at tonight’s show will be Marcel Lucont, celebrated raconteur and bon viveur, and Harriet Dyer, who will share her skewed views on the trivia of the everyday. Master of ceremonies Anthony J. Brown will add his customary wit.

Tickets cost £11 in advance, £13 on the door and £6 for students. Call 01245 345222 or www.chesterfieldtheatres.co.uk
