Britain’s first group of serving soldiers to enter the pop charts are hitting the road to Derbyshire, as part of their third tour of the UK.

Join Sgt Major Gary Chilton, Staff Sgt Richie Maddocks and Lance Cpl Ryan Idzi for an evening of uplifting music at Buxton Opera House tomorrow (Friday, January 27).

Through the release of The Soldiers’ three albums and their subsequent tours, the trio has raised more than £500,000 for armed forces charities including Help For Heroes, The Royal British Legion and the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.

Gary Chilton said: “It means so much to all three of us for all the support that our fans give us year in year out. More importantly, it is imperative that the charities we represent are kept in the public eye so that they can continue to give our brave boys and girls the crucial rehabilitation that they so richly deserve.”

Tickets cost £20,50 and £22.50, with concessions available; contact 0845 127 2190 or www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk
