Not About Heroes, the unforgettable story of two of the finest Great War poets, is heading for Buxton Opera House.
Exhilarating and uncompromising in its exploration of love, war and friendship, the play stars James Howard as Siegfried Sassoon and Ben Ashton as Wilfred Owen.
Through the letters and poems of these two men, Stephen MacDonald’s acclaimed piece paints a vivid and moving picture of Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon, their friendship, their inter-dependency and their verse – works that changed the face of British poetry.
Not About Heroes is at the Opera House on Tuesday, November 18, at 7.30pm.
There will be a free question and answer session with the company in the stalls after the performance.
Tickets are priced at £15 and discounts are available. To buy tickets or for more information call the box office on 0845 127 2190 or buy online at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk
