After wowing audiences and receiving rave reviews earlier this year in Liverpool, a stage production about Beatles legend John Lennon will set out on an extensive 36-date tour.
Part-concert and part-biography, Lennon: Through A Glass Onion showcases 31 hits of Lennon and Lennon/McCartney including Imagine, Revolution and Jealous Guy in a kaleidoscope collage of song, word and emotion.
Liverpool actor Daniel Taylor takes the lead role in the show which visits Buxton’s Pavilion Arts Centre on Sunday, September 4. He has been praised for revealing the true essence of one of the world’s most celebrated musicians.
Daniel has experience of playing the great and the good on stage after winning critical acclaim as the lead role in The Tommy Cooper Show. More recently he starred as Mickey in Down The Dock Road.
Daniel will be joined on stage by accompanist Stewart D’Arrietta.
Lennon: Through A Glass Onion opened in Australia and has played Off Broadway, New York; around the USA and also Japan.
The show stunned audiences at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival before winning acclaim in Lennon’s birthplace in April.
