The RED Hot Chili Peppers have confirmed they are to play the region as part of an autumn tour.

Red Hot Chili Peppers – singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer – will play the Motorpoint Arena Sheffield on Thursday 17th November. Fool’s Gold will be the opening act. Tickets priced £49.50 & £45 go on general sale Friday 29th July at 9am.

The tour will follow the August 29th release of their eagerly anticipated new album ‘I’m With You’.

Fans who pre-order the album will get a chance to access pre-sale tickets for the UK and Ireland tour before they go on sale to the general public. Simply pre-order the upcoming album from or in either the digital or physical format and you will be given a unique access code you can use to gain access to an exclusive pre-sale.

Recorded at East West In Los Angeles and Shangri-la in Malibu, CA, ‘I’m With You’ was produced by Rick Rubin, who has produced the band’s previous five albums, 2006’s Stadium Arcadium, 2002’s By The Way, 1999’s Californication, 1995’s One Hot Minute and 1991’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik. The album was mixed by Andrew Scheps and Greg Fidelman.

The album’s tracklisting is: Monarchy of Roses, Factory of Faith, Brendan’s Death Song, Ethiopia, Annie Wants A Baby, Look Around, The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie, Did I Let You Know, Goodbye Hooray, Happiness Loves Company, Police Station, Even You Brutus?, Meet Me at the Corner and Dance, Dance, Dance.

The first single from the album, ‘The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie’, is out now.
