The highly acclaimed singer/songwriter Sarah McQuaid has chosen The Green Man Gallery at Hardwick Hall as a venue for her autumn tour, which showcases her new solo album, Walking Into White.
The first half of the gig is a performance of the album, track by track, which includes live sampling and percussion loops created by Sarah’s long-time collaborator, manager and sound engineer, Martin Stansbury.
Well-known as the author of The Irish DADGAD Songbook, Sarah will also run a DADGAD workshop for guitarists before the concert.
Sarah’s rich voice and scintillating guitar playing add up to an unmissable gig in The Green Man Gallery’s resonant acoustics.
The gig is on Saturday, November 21. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Booking is essential for both the gig and the workshop.
Tickets for the gig cost £10 and £25 for the workshop. A combined ticket costs £30. They are available from The Green Man Gallery at £10. To book, phone the gallery on 01298 937375 or 07977 956707, email firstname.lastname@example.org or buy tickets in person between 10.30am and 5.30pm.
