Barlow Brewery is hosting its Rock the Carnival music fest headlined by Escape Plan and featuring Bad Language, The Velveteers, Angela Turner, Lucky 13, The Experience, Alex Spacie & Friends, Maple, Your Next, 3 Piece Thing. Doors open at 12 noon, bands on from 2pm to 11pm. £2 on gate, all day pass.

Groovy Cats band perform at The Neptune Beer Emporium, St Helens Street, Chesterfield, from 4pm. 1920s theme evening.
