Pop pin-up Marti Pellow, who soared to fame as the frontman in Wet Wet Wet, will star in hit musical Jekyll and Hyde, in Sheffield next month.
Marti plays the brilliant but obsessive scientist whose sadistic alter ego wreaks havoc across London in a dark tale of love, redemption and seductive power of evil.
After racking up a string of hits with Wet Wet Wet, including Love is All Around, Marti went solo and became a critically acclaimed singer and songwriter.
He has gone on to star in the West End, Broadway and on national tour in smash-hit musicals, last appearing at Sheffield’s Lyceum in a touring production of The Witches of Eastwick.
Jekyll and Hyde runs at the Lyceum from April 18 to 30. Tickets available from £22 to £34, with discounts available. To book, call (0114) 249 6000 or visit the website at sheffieldtheatres.co.uk.
