Summer’s here and it’s the perfect time to enjoy outdoor theatre.

Heartbreak Productions are presenting two family-friendly shows at Sheffield’s Botanical Gardens as part of their 23rd year of touring.

Watch the colourful characters from David Walliams’ celebrated novel Mr Stink come to life from Thursday, July 16 to 19, with performances at 6pm each night and a matinee on Sunday at 2pm.

Audience participation will be required in the show which revolves around a snobbish mum, a garden party and a homeless man who isn’t on the guest list.

The company return to the Botanical Gardens next month with a production of Jane Austen’s classic novel Emma. Be transported back to a time when finding the perfect match was the order of the day.

Emma runs from August 20 to 22 at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm and on August 23 at 6.30pm.
