Comedian Stuart Goldsmith’s stock in trade is infectious banter channelling effortless charisma and quick-fire timing.
He will be sharing anecdotes galore about relationships when he performs at the Winding Wheel, Chesterfield, on Thursday, October 25.
Stuart came to the nation’s attention as a performer on the telly series Show Me The Funny.
He is a former street performer who was placed third in the World Busking Championships in 2008. He did his first street-show at 16, having learned to fire breathe, fire juggle and walk on broken glass.
His writing credits include Radio 2’s Out To Lunch and BBC7’s Play & Record and Witty & Twisted.
Support comes from brazen Brummie Craig Deeley, a former finalist in telly’s So Youi Think You’re Funny competition, whose speciality is hilariously barbed observational material.
Completing the bill is Steve Goodall, voted Best New Yorkshire Act 2012 at the Lawrence Batley Theatre Comedy Cellar.
The show is part of the monthly Spotlight Comedy Club events at the Winding Wheel, hosted by master comedian Anthony J. Brown.
Kick-off is at 8pm. Tickets £11, £9 and £6 (students); call 01246 345333 or www.chesterfieldtheatres.co.uk
