Vicky Entwhistle, Clare Buckfield and Chelsee Healey will hit the Pomegranate on Friday, September 28.

They team up in The Vagina Monologue which is a smash-hit Broadway and West End show from the pen of Eve Ensler.

Vicky is best known as Janice Battersby in Coronation Street, Clare was a finalist in Dancing On Ice and Chelsee was a finalist in Strictly Come Dancing and has appeared in Waterloo Road.

Billed as the ultimate girls’ night for every generation, The Vagina Monologues has helped raise thousands of pounds for women at risk across the world.

The big show at the Winding Wheel this season is heart-tugging musical Blood Brothers, starring Niki Evans, which comes to town from October 8-13.

Music legends The Drifters will be joined by pupils at Abercrombie Primary School, Chesterfield, in concert at the Winding Wheel on September 14.

Comedian Jason Byrne brings his show People’s Puppeteer on October 20, followed by Jeremy Hardy on November 2. Both comedians will be performing at the Winding Wheel.

Familiar faces from the telly come to the Pomegranate in November for a production of Bouncers. The show stars Ace Bhatti (best known as EastEnders Dr Evil, smooth-talking Yusef Khan), Don Gilet (killer Lucas in EastEnders and Johnny Lindo in Babyfathers), Ian Reddington (Vernon Cole from Coronation Street and Richard ‘Tricky Dicky’ Cole in EastEnders) and William Ilkley (Hollyoaks and Holby City).

December promises to be a magical time at both venues.

Celebrity gardener Charlie Dimmock heads the cast of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Pomegranate from December 7 to January 6.

The Winding Wheel will host its first ice show from December 12 to 16 when Wild Rose stages Cinderella On Ice.
