Wirksworth Festival is in full swing, following its opening Art & Architecture weekend.
Join artist Rupert Clamp for a psychogeographical tour of the town on Saturday, September 17, starting at 11am and 2.30pm at the Parish Room.
Take a journey through Wirksworth’s history on a performance-walk through the streets of the town with Bodies in Flight on Saturday, leaving the Parish Room at 11am, 12 midday, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.
Stay on for the Artist’s Film & Video Salon at the Town Hall from 6.30pm, with a multimedia performance by Anomic to follow.
There will be a free curator’s tour with many of the exhibiting artists on Sunday, September 16, at 10.30am in the Parish Room.
All the festival’s main venues are open this coming weekend and the following weekend, September 24 and 25, from 10am to 4pm.
