GOLDEN-VOICED teenager Dominic Stevenson has sung his way to a coveted title.

GOLDEN-VOICED teenager Dominic Stevenson has sung his way to a coveted title.

The 15-year-old singer from Directions Theatre Arts in Chesterfield wowed judges in a Junior Showtime competition.

His rendition of This Is The Moment from the musical Jekyll & Hyde won the award in the event at Mansfield Palace Theatre, organised by the town’s Rotarians.

It was the second success for Dominic, who with 16-year-old James Morgan, took the best duet title.

Directions took four first places in the competition with five entries.

Emma Southworth, Ashton Harkness and Lois Woodward took the best trio/group award with their rendition ofMamma I’m a Big Girl Now from Hairspray.

The trio of Georgia Ellis, Izzy Schleifer and Molly Baldwin won the junior section with a routine called Babies.
