Local musicians will take to the stage alongside tribute bands at a fundraising concert in aid of two Buxton-based charities.

Following the success of February’s Buxton Rocks music event at the Pavilion Gardens, organisers will be holding Buxton Mini Rocks at Trunk bar on Bank Holiday Monday May 5.

Tribute acts Guns or Roses and Pearl Scam will be joined by local acts Rhythm Clowns, Sovereign, Twisted Lick, Risin Tides, Melt and The Illegal Regals. There will also be music from DJ Black Dragon.

The all-day event, which coincides with the Buxton Spring Fair, will be raising money for the Grapevine Wellbeing Centre and The Love Eilish Charity.

Live music gets underway at the Market Place venue from 1pm. Admission on the day is £4.
