Buxton Festival will be presenting three special evenings with well-known figures, best-selling novelist Jeffrey Archer, Radio 4 presenter James Naughtie and explorer Ranulph Fiennes.
Bestselling author and former politician Jeffrey Archer talks about his colourful life and times on Sunday July 13, and broadcaster and writer James Naughtie talks to MP-turned-broadcaster Matthew Parris about politics, music and Scottish independence on Sunday July 27.
The Festival’s ‘Evening With’ events are rounded off by Sir Ranulph Fiennes on the last night of the Festival on Sunday July 27. The world-renowned explorer, who continually pushed the boundaries of human endurance, talks to Anton Bowring about his career and time in the great frozen wilderness of the Poles.
The three fascinating talks will take place in Buxton Opera House and start at 7.15pm. Tickets are priced at £16 and £19.
This year’s Festival features 45 talks and three new creative writing workshops. For further details visit www.buxtonfestival.co.uk or call the Box Office on 0845 127 2190.
