Dance aces perform show in Dronfield

The Norwegian group Panta Rei Dance Theatre will be performing the show I Wish Her Well at Dronfield Hall Barn on Sunday, March 12.

Based in Oslo, the group was established in 2000. They are known for fast-paced colourful dance theatre performances that are accessible to a wide range of audiences in a variety of theatrical and no-theatrical spaces.

I Wish Her Well is an intricate performance, combining storytelling, high tempo energy and an evocative sound score by British composer Nathaniel Reed that infuses the performance with melody and atmosphere.

It is a captivating production that seeks to move and engage.

Act one is based on the stories of four women who are closely related to the dancers, whilst act two is based on the diaries of a 16 year old girl. She is now an 82 year old woman who generously shared her thoughts and experiences with the choreographers and dancers.

Tickets cost £12 for adults and £8 for under 16s. This is a rare chance to catch exceptional contemporary dance-theatre from Norway in a rural venue.
