St John’s Church in Tideswell will host a performance of romantic comedy The God Particle this weekend.
The play is by James Cary, award winning co-writer of BBC1’s Miranda and Radio 4’s Another Case of Milton Jones.
The God Particle is the story of two people with very different ideas: a quantum physicistand a vicar who meet in a bar and join forces to solve a perplexing mystery. They discover the real meaning of faith, knowledge and love and the importance of keeping an open mind.
Having enjoyed a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013, The God Particle is now on a whistlestop two- month national tour. It will be staged in Tideswell on Saturday, May 14, at 7.30pm.
If you’ve ever enjoyed Rev, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, The Vicar of Dibley or Dr Who then don’t miss this opportunity to see the only performance in the area of The God Particle.
Tickets cost £8, from Peak Volumes bookshop in Tideswell or reserve at www.peakvolumes.com/the_god_particle_play.html.
