Be swept along by the magic of 19th century Vienna and journey through a sparkling assortment of music and dance from the most romantic of times.

One Night in Vienna, which will be staged at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on Saturday, January 5, at 3pm, will feature performances by the Johann Strauss Orchestra and movement by the Johann Strauss Dancers who will be wearing costumes from the period.

The orchestra’s repertoire will include The Blue Danube Waltz, Radetsky March, Thunder and Lightning Polka, The Laughing Song (from Die Fledermaus) and Voices of Spring.

Chesterfield’s Winding Wheel is hosting its annual New Year’s Concert Extravaganza on Sunday, January 6, at 3pm.

Join in the celebrations with the Sheffield Symphony Orchestra who will play light music gems and Viennese classics.

Soprano Elizabeth Karani will be back in the concert spotlight following her popularity last year.
