Performers pulled out the stops to entertain more than 160 guests at a concert.

The event, for local people who do not get out as much as they would like, was organised by the Rotary Club of Rotary.

The Annual Bill Barber Concert is held in memory of Rtn Bill Barber who first suggested the idea.

Spectators were picked up from their homes and taken to the concert at the Palmer Morewood Club in Alfreton where they were entertained by local artists. Compere for the evening was Rtn Stuart Rice who thanked the artistes, the Brian Scott Sound, the members of The Cary On Singing Group, the Community Transport drivers, the Swanwick Scout troop, Kevin Doyle coaches and the Palmer Morewood Club for their help in making it a successful evening.

Senior Vice President Paul Rose presented flowers to Barbara Rice, Audry Ashton, Kirsty Doyle and Cheryl Upton to thank them for their help and expressed gratitude to Rtn Stuart Rice for organising the event.
