Former Dr Who Colin Baker, who is currently starring in panto in Mansfield, has recorded a Christmas special of the hit telly show, Come Dine With Me, which will air from Boxing Day.

Colin is playing Fleshcreep in the Palace Theatre’s Christmas cracker Jack and the Beanstalk.

On Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me, he will appear alongside other celebs such as Linda Nolan, DJ Bianca Gascoigne, Big Brother’s ‘Nasty’ Nick Bateman and Danny Young from Coronation Street/Dancing On Ice.

Colin said about the experience: “It was the scariest, most exhausting but rewarding and challenging thing I have ever done on television. It was a lot of fun and the other diners were great!“

Tickets to see Colin Baker as ‘Fleshcreep’ in Jack and the Beanstalk are still available from the Palace Theatre Box Office on 01623 633133 or visit www.mansfield.gov.uk/palacetheatre.
