Music, theatre and storytelling

AN EVENING of storytelling, live music and theatre is coming to Taddington.

A Love Like Salt, by The Devils Violin Company, features three wonderful tales that have gripped us for hundreds of years. Tales of drama and danger, love and lust, humour and pathos. Tales that inspired two of our most popular storytellers: Chaucer and Shakespeare.

The Devils Violin Company is renowned for its thrilling and passionate performances, which have thrilled sell-out audiences across the UK.

A Love Like Salt will be performed at the Bramwell Institute, Main Road, Taddington, on Wednesday February 13, at 7.30pm, in conjunction with Live and Local, the Arts Council-funded and local council-supported organisation which is committed to bringing ‘surprising shows to surprising places’ in Staffordshire and Derbyshire.

Tickets, priced £8 (£7 for students or OAPs) in advance, £8.50 on the door or £6 for under-18s, are available on 01298 85384.
