A FORMER village church will be transformed into a second-hand shop for Tideswell Community Players’ latest production.
Expect comedy, farce and romance as Liz Lochhead’s Good Things is performed at the Old United Reformed Church from Thursday November 22 to Saturday November 24, at 7.30pm.
This gentle comedy, with a love story too, is set in a charity shop where second hand goods are not all that come through the door.
There’s a range of lively staff on hand and colourful customers who visit and browse as Susan, the shop assistant, approaches her dreaded 50th birthday: suddenly single and still multi-tasking.
The play, directed by Jennifer Bower, includes familiar and new faces to the Tideswell stage and promises to be a very entertaining night out.
Performances at the Parke Road venue in Tideswell start at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced £8 (£6 concessions), are available from firstname.lastname@example.org, Tideswell Post Office, Litton Shop or by calling 01298 871063.
