Taste Tideswell food demonstration

Taste Tideswell food demonstration

TALENTED local chefs will be championing Derbyshire produce, as well as showing audiences how to create mouth-watering dishes at Buxton Festival this month.

The festival, which has opened this week, is well known for its opera, music and literature events.

This year it is also set to get the taste buds of the festival’s national, regional and local visitors tingling.

There will be interactive cookery demonstrations to share the Taste of the Peaks with audiences.

On July 20, rosette holder Simon Bradley from East Lodge Country House Hotel, Rowsley, will show off his culinary skills.

Simon started his career at the Paris Ritz and has seen service at Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir and London’s Atlantic Bar and Grill as well as working at Odette’s for a decade.

Chefs from the Tideswell School of Food will be showing audiences how to creat a dellicious meal with local produce on July 14 and 24 at their cookery school.

Todd Carrol from Buxton’s Nat Kitchen, who is a AA rosette holder, launches the demonstrations on July 10.
