Stylish Ugly Sisters will be giving male spectators a new look during a village’s panto this week.
Mirroring telly’s makeover queens, the comical duo in Bradwell’s production of Cinderella will be called Trinny and Susannah.
The Ugly Sisters will be played by Ian Jarvis and Phil Granby in a show which promises to be a fun-filled, colourful riot for all the family.
Producer Marilyn Harrison said: “We will be picking men in the audience to give them a new look for 2013 by dressing them in hats and scarfs.”
Karen Joseph plays the title role and Charlotte Humphrey is Prince Charming in the show which includes 16 performers and a junior chorus.
Linda Wain, who is cast as Queen Prudence, has acted in 18 of the group’s 19 pantos while several members of backstage and front of house teams have been involved in every one.
Staged by Bradwell Centenary Players, the panto runs at the village’s Memorial Hall from Wednesday, February 20, to Saturday, February 23, at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2pm. Tickets cost £5 (adult) and £4 (child, OAP), available from Bradwell Post Office.
