Mention WAG Promotions and you wonder why on earth the leggy consorts of soccer stars need pushing any further into the limelight.
However, the group is not a Max Clifford spin-off venture for a former pop princess and models, but a team dedicated to helping live music thrive in a Derbyshire village.
Part of the Whitwelll Action Group, it's a voluntary community project set
up after a villagers complained about a lack of local gigs.
Wag Promotions' Wayne Hatton explained: "We aim to build a reputation for staging quality bands and to help young local bands get a foot on the music venue merry go round.
"As a community group we initially have a remit to promote all genres of music, so every now and again we will drop in, amongst the ever popular rock and blues, indie, folk, punk, ska, classical, jazz, acoustic sets etc etc.
"As far as entrance fees are concerned, we ask for a donation on the door."
The WAGs have established a base at the village's Boot and Shoe pub, with access to an upstairs room with its own stage, lighting and, most importantly, bar.
Since the first chords were struck in February, the WAG events have been building steadily, with an impressive 120 punters packing out the venue for local lads and good time rockers Cold Gin.
Wayne added: "We successfully staged a larger gig in the Whitwell Centre in May when we promoted the excellent tribute band - Twin Lizzy, with over 175 music lovers transported to the late 70's and plan to do this quarterly if possible "
