The clouds were threatening but the rain never fell on the second annual Eckington Rolling Stones Music Festival.
This year's event was staged on the back of lorries at both the Miners Welfare Club and the Rose and Crown.

The young band Fasttrack, who have featured in the S21 Music Project's Showcase events in Eckington, again showed their talent, in tackling songs from the Rolling Stones and others – as well as their own material – all from lads who are all just 14 or under.

North of Watford, showed they're maturing into a fine band , with two impressive sets of their own material, and young DJ Mooj, also part of the S21 Project, showed his skills with the mixing desk, between the bands.

Brian Wood and his all-star friends treated the audience to varied sets of material including some unique arrangements of Rolling Stones' songs.

Brian's bands featured the talents of Zenon, Chillo, Martin Gregory, John Predogast and young drummers Kyle and Aaron, all of whom can be seen at the jam nights on Wednesday evenings at the Rose and Crown.

The Stoned Angels are fronted by local boy Ben, who not only sings and looks like Mick Jagger he now thinks he is Mick Jagger! They gave two remarkable sets of Stones songs creating both the sound and the look of the great Rolling Stones themselves.
