The Ripley Music Festival is kicking off, with a host of top bands playing at venues across the town.
The schedule includes:

Monday, July 14
The Monkey Run: Starscreen, Junkstar, Rutherfords and Minus IQ.
All Saints Church: Alfreton Ladies Choir.

Tuesday, July 15
The Monkey Run: Rebel Territory, Free St
ate Prophets and Trip Hazard.

Wednesday, July 16
The Monkey Run: With Silent Eyes, Elmo Must Die, The Red Hand and Shoot The Poet.
All Saints Church: Clare Lee & Liz Paling, violin & piano
Victors: classic rock band from Nine Hundred More
The Devonshire: acoustic open mic night.


Thursday, July 17
The Kestrel Marehay: Irish trio Decons field

Friday, July 18
All Saints Church: The Quintessential Quartet
The Kestrel, Marehay: Live Lounge band Jam session
The Devonshire: Blues nite featuring Fantastic guitarist John Richie

Saturday, July 19
Oxford St: Enjoy your lunchtime shopping in Ripley with Clasic Rock favorites State Zero
The Devonshire: Rock n Roll band Shades of Blue.
Lockwoods Proms in the park: Spectacular Brass Band concert with fantastic firework display featuring Blue Wave Jazz and Newstead Brass
