Leeds fest line-up announced

Metallica, Rage Against the Machine and Killers line up to headline the Carling Leeds fest this summer...
The Leeds festival, scheduled for Friday August 22, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24, reads like a who's who of the rock and roll glitterati.

Together with its Reading counterpart, it will see the only UK festival appearance of heavy metal heavyweights Metallica.

The Line up at Leeds includes:

Friday sees metal gods Metallica headline on a bill that includes Tenacious D, Slipknot, Feeder, Avenged Sevenfold and Dropkick Murphys.
Taking to the Radio 1/NME stage will be The Cribs, Conor Oberst, Pendulum

Saturday sees Rage Against The Machine rock the main stage, with Queens of the Stone Age, The Fratellis, The Enemy, Biffy Clyro, Serj Tankian, Dizzee Rascal, Taking Back Sunday, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, and Anti-flag also on the bill.
The other stage boasts Babyshambles, The Wombats, Vampire Weekend and MGMT.

Sunday sees The Killers, Bloc Party, The Raconteurs, Editors, We Are Scientists, Dirty Pretty Things and the Subways on the main stage.
The Radio 1/NME stage features Manic Street Preachers, Bullet For My Valentine, Justice and Foals.


BOOKING INFORMATION

Three day weekend tickets, including camping and parking, are priced at £155 each plus booking fee.

Day Tickets which do not allow camping are priced at £65 plus booking fee.

Tickets are strictly limited to a maximum of six per household - for those booking by telephone or online - or a maximum of four per person for those purchasing tickets at the Festival Republic booking office.

Children under 13 (12 and under) are admitted free but MUST be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Please note there is no separate children's area at this event.
