Buxton Hitmen have been hit by the news that Stoke asset Tim Webster will no longer be riding for the speedway club after a disappointing return against USA Future.

Webster, pictured, has decided to quit the Hitmen and pursue other avenues after stating that he could not ride the track,

Joining the Hitmen is Adam McKinna, son of the legendary Scottish rider Kenny McKinna, who rode for Belle Vue Colts last season.

McKinna is likely to make his Buxton debut on Sunday when the Hitmen entertain Dudley Heathens, one of his former teams.

Buxton’s last two meetings - home and away against Mildenhall - have had to be cancelled because of waterlogged tracks.
