Buxton have moved to secure the services of Tim Webster as team building starts in earnest for the coming season.
With the National League AGM still to take place it is unclear as to how many meetings there will be but one thing that has been decided at a recent meeting of all the chairmen was to keep the points limit at 40 points.
Webster competed for Stoke Potters last year and despite recently becoming a Stoke asset found himself without a team spot at Loomer Road.
Tim had a good year there and formed a strong spearhead alongside Simon Lambert and Buxton moved quickly to secure his services when it became known he was available.
Webster will fill one of the heat leader spots and is looking forward to a new challenge with the Hitmen.
He said “I am really looking forward to next season with Buxton.
“When I have ridden against Buxton in the past I have always been impressed with their team spirit and the fans.
“I have improved my average every year and fully intend to do that again next season.
“I have already started work on my bikes and engines and will be looking to put myself in the show window for a Premier League place.”
