Three second-half goals saw Staveley overcome a stubborn Lincoln side at Inkersall Road.

Joe Thornton put Welfare ahed in the 50th minute. He struck home from 12 yards after receiving a back heel from Simon Barraclough.

Ten minutes later Thornton made it 2-0, heading home the rebound after a shot from Aymen Tahar clattered the woodwork.

Andrew Fox wrapped up the scoring in the 78th minute when he collected a pass from Thornton,

A pat on the back is deserved by keeper Ed Eley who kept a clean sheet on his debut.

Welfare have now gained 15 points from their last six league games.
