The Dundee Stars can beat any team in the league says Sheffield Steelers player-coach Ashley Tait and certainly can’t be taken lightly when they visit the Motorpoint Arena this afternoon.

“I think last weekends games against Fife and Edinburgh prove that,” says Tait, the ice hockey veteran.

Tait added: “On any given night any team can beat anyone. Dundee have some excellent players and have put in some good results in recent weeks.

“After all the effort we put in last weekend with the three wins in three nights it was be crazy f we let our concentration slip and lose on Sunday.

“We are confident that as long as we keep our focus and play to our strengths then we have enough firepower to keep this run of ours going.

“It’s a one-game weekend so there can’t be any excuses at all, we will give everything we have on one huge 60-minute push.

“Sunday and Dundee is another game with have to tick off with a win, every weekend we keep winning keeps the pressure on those around us in the standings.”

Tait was speaking after Steelers recorded wins in their last three outings on the ice.
