Spireites: Hull City’s Conor Townsend extends stay at Chesterfield

Spireites

Conor Townsend will remain at the Proact Stadium after Hull City agreed to let the versatile youngster stay on loan until the end of the season.

Townsend, who can play in defence or midfield, made three appearances after joining the Spireites on a youth loan in November.

He scored and was then sent-off in his last appearance against Morecambe on December 29.

The 19-year-old is on loan until May 18.
